Sometime when I think about the life I used to lead,
We were young and strong and we thought ourselves so wise.
And you were there my friend, we thought the dream would never end.
But older now, looking back ‘cross that bridge of sighs…

Sometimes I’ll go out for a drive and I arrive by the Old Man’s place,
I could swear I see your face right before my eyes…
There was some much left to say, I let the cares get in the way…

Funny how in life there seems there’s so much left to live,

To hold back on the truth is akin to a lie…
